A neutral color palette can soar when layered with touches of color, lots of textures and interesting objects. I recently came across two homes in Architectual Digest, each individual and quite contrasted in style. The first, a modern home located in the hills of California by designer Emily Summers, the second is Suzanne Kasler's classic regency style home and property in Atlanta, Georgia. I am loving the quality of light and sculptural feel of the furniture in each of these homes. The landscaping, though very different, also beautifully and cohesively compliments the interiors (and vice versa). |
